We decided to go gliding even though it was cloudy. We weren't too high, the clouds were low. Above the clouds we missed the visuals of the autumn below. It was so peaceful it didn't seem to matter. Coming down through the clouds and midst we faced a mountain range that could not be avoided. I suprised myself, remaining calm. My friend was terrified, screaming. I held her then woke. Quickly I went back to sleep hoping to continue the dream. It never works.

oh man, i thought you really did go gliding! i hear ya about the dreams....i've tried that many a times & it doesn't work. thankfully it doesnt work for nightmares either.

I was sucked into the dream with you and snapped back to reality just as abruptly with the dream twist. Nicely written.

Gliding through the skies in a dream,you're not alone,don't try to repeat the same dream,'cause your mind is rich enough to make millions of other dreams as good as any.
Don't waste your time on small change,go to the next dream story.

Nicely written, I was with you on wanting the dream to continue... I'd love to try gliding one day--to be in a plane with no noise but the wind...
I used to have this deal that, when I realized I was having a dream, everything would be fine till I tried to tell one of the dream-people that it was just a dream. Then I'd get sucked up into the sky, mouth immobile.
