Oh, (((((Helen)))) what a difference a hug makes... I have it on good authority (from my friend in spirit) that everything we do matters in the ripple effect kind of way.

Hi Helen
I just stumbled on your blog as a fellow blogger from the Netherlands.
I really loved the free hugs movie.
If you dont mind I will steal the link and put it on my blog?
It made my day good!
We should do this in our country too!
Do you know anything more about this man and his campaign?
greetings

I don't mind at all Gosia and hope more people take the link. I tried to respond via your blog (?) but blogger didn't direct me to one. Anyway, here are a few links for you. One is the story of the original "Free Hugs" video. The other to the world project site. There is a map on this site which shows participant locations around the world. Enjoy!

Peace..................
(and, of course, hugs!)

That is so cool. Wonder what would happen if just a few of us went to busy places with the same sign?

I seriously want to try it :)

Glad you're still out there, I've missed you.

Helen, I always wondered if porcupines had a time of it, hugging.

Hugging is the answer to this entire sick planets problem. It is hard to hug someone when you are carrying an bomb.

You probably would have to put the bomb down to hug.

One biggie though....the North Korean people, are starving, and are jailed or killed if they dare believe in God and tell someone else that they believe in God.....

The average purse of an American woman, has enough foodstuff to keep a North Korean alive for another day. The certs, tootsierolls, paydays and little bags of honey roasted peanuts in that average purse, could keep one of North Korea's slaves alive for one more day. But you probably don't want to think about this.

Helen, this is a rant, not directed at you, but we are All so stupid about tomorrow, and that includes me.

When I hear about the life of a slave of communism in a faraway land, well, years ago, I would have wanted to help........I'm not so sure now........It is getting very hard to be helpful to the rest of the world, so here is my plan…

don't do anything,

because it would be too difficult to bring real freedom to the world...so I suggest, we enjoy our freedom, call our troops back and lift up the middle digit of either hand to the world........we will survive. Personally, I admire our Presidents love of freedom, but few people in the world will fight for freedom, and there is no freedom without a fight.

In N. Korea, the exalted leader is a wannabee Mao..(but he will never achieve that level of murder, rape or torture, because he has only 20 million or so slaves, Mao had 100’s of millions of slaves to keep him drunk with fine French cognac, and SanFrancisco whores....drinking cognac with the lovely strippers and whores of the world, while millions starve to death. Yeah, that is a land I’d want to live in? Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Russia or San Francisco…..not me…..go ahead enjoy debauchery while we retake the earth for love……..

There is no Valentines day in any Commie or Islamic nation. Slaves don’t have that day on their calendar. \

Consider.....in Iraq, many people are being killed by the islamafacists...and a lot of people in the battles. but, at least they had a portion of freedom.....before they died.

To all of the newborns of Korea,

We want so much to help you, but your Daddy and Mommy have to get rid of the cognac drinking porn lover, Kim, what's his name. Sometimes no help can help, and I'm sorry to point out that the slaves of North Korea have to do it for themselves. Here we are, in America, buying automobiles made in South Korea, and just a few miles north, real people, real humans are eating the dried up paste from the spine of the few books they have hidden from the government.

Helen, we don't agree upon many things in the political world, but I don't live because of politics....so , whoever wins, great....now let the work begin.

Helen, just got back from the honeymoon and decided to visit a few of my good old friends. This brought me close to crying-which is awesome since I can't ever get there. I think I have seen this idea before somewhere because I got a sort of Deja'vu while watching it. It was a wonderful thing for you to put up and share and also you introduced me to a song by I band I have heard of for over ten years but never bothered to listen to. Your the best.
