All the years combine, they melt into a dream - Stella Blue

I'm not one for ringing in the new year. But each 12/31 I do a fair amount of reflection. This one will be no different. All that I've done, wanted to do. What's happened in the world, what hasn't. Just like any other day - Sun going up and then the sun going down. This chapter closes, a new one begins. At times bittersweet, each 1/1 brings new hope.
We'll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne.

A safe and Happy New Year to you all.

Hey, Helen. Thanks for dropping by and seeing my kayaking pictures. I'll probably be posting a few more over the next few days.

I spent a few New Year's Days in Vermont. A rather nice time. That was up in Richmond though more time was probably spent in Burlington than anywhere else. Too bad that's all in the past.

I hope your New Year in Vergennes is a happy one, Helen. Even if you don't ring in the New Year in any big way.

Happy New Year! It's always good to reflect on the year and count your blessings. Things can only go up from here.

"Sun going up and then the sun going down."

You forgot the most important part:

"Shine through my window, and my friends they come around!"

Happy New Year!
