A foolish heart will cost you sleep and often make you curse - Foolish Heart

It's not uncommon. It might even be normal. You come to that "stay or leave" point in a relationship. You toss, turn, lose sleep. You change perspective. You sleep well. You begin to wonder why you ever let it concern you. Then that wondering keeps you awake at night.....again. You voice your concerns. He replies with his. But what do you hear? Did you hear it all? Yes, all of it. Now the realization that each day, each hour, each and every minute you are making that decision. So is he. Yes, so is he.

I agree with you. I believe that even true soulmates go through at least one period in their relationship where they question whether the experiment of spending their lives together is a sound one.

Late, late, late for C&C Monday. There is a song in my mind:

Should I stay or should I go now?
If I stay there will be trouble...
If I go there will be double!!

Hoping your pain is halved and quartered.

Stumbled on you at SU. This is so excellent, like a loving kick to the gut. It dislodged that thing that was choking me..
Thank you so much for posting it.

Helen
I've been there. This was nice. I love seeing that you haven't totally stopped blogging, even if it's far and few in between. You made me smile. I'm back for the time being.

That's a really frightening place to be in a relationship. From that point on, the relationship will either be dissolving or growing stronger. The weird thing is, the outcome isn't always our choice. And sometimes when it is our choice, it's not the easiest of the 2 choices.

I have missed you!! I'm sorry that I haven't been by.

I've missed reading here! Yours and Miguel's words from comments ring so true for me. That doubting, questioning, pondering, pleading, wondering eats away at both of you.
I see the purple design additions. :)

(I redesigned my blog back to a green/blue tone for "Green-Eyed Lady" (but I have to say I miss purple and may change it), but the link you have for "Good Vibrations" is just a placeholder- not using that blogsite.)
I'm on the "typepad site" now at:
http://ShadowsintheMoonlight.typepad.com and my blog there is called "Emerald Eyes".

Warmly,
GEL (Green-Eyed Lady whom you firsr met at "Good Vibrations)
