One or two moments, a piece of your time is all I am asking and I'll give you mine - Believe it or Not

This video will take only a quick moment to view. There are several more like it on the site. It is beautiful, haunting, thought-provoking and so much more. It is so very, very important. If not already done,
open your eyes,
open your heart,
open your mind.

As much as I respect your views, I look at it entirely different. I see the high monthly death tolls as a reason to stay. Once it gets down to 2 or 3 every couple months for our soldiers, then we have done our job because those attacks directed at us won't be diverted to the citizens when we leave. If we leave now do you really think that the insurgents will leave as well?

Wow, that comment you left me was all civil and what not. Thanks! I always expect to get flames from the anti-war people. :)

Ryan, thanks for your post. I couldn't agree more. The price of freedom and lasting peace has always been paid in blood.

It is terrible, painful, devastating, enfuriating, but history teaches us that there is no other way, especially when dealing with this kind of enemy.

I don;t mean to piss off all the anti-war bloggers, but that's just how I feel and I accept your different point of view.

see, I think that some people may believe that we need to stay in Iraq because of the bloodshed, etc. But this is based on the basic axiom that war/occupation/greed is a part of life and this is the only way to deal with it. However, I think we need to start questioning that basic axiom. I think that once we eradicate the underlying premise, we will eradicate the syptoms: war and suffering.

but maybe not. we are human after all.

Anyway, I threw up a link to the video on my blog and gave you credit for posting it.

It doesn't make me feel better about myself - it amuses me. Your blog is NOT lame. It is great. I was merely trying to get people to comment. What's the big deal? I apologize - thanks for the hit - I just want to get 10,000 hits by august. I love you.

If only that meant something to the government. They don't send their kids to war. Keep up the great work.
