In another time's forgotten space - Franklin's Tower

A childless mother floating in cyberspace. Thoughts, trials, hopes. Links, comments, pictures. A long gone woman's blog waiting to land on a screen may be it's only purpose. No children to carry memories, pass a story down. Here I'll leave a small fraction of me behind. Drifting in cyberspace where a stranger might find it. And just like that, I'm gone but not erased.

Wow, that's an unsettling thought. My blog will be one of the few things to survive as a reminder of me once I'm gone. After a while, it'll be deleted by a program and not a person. That's rather cold and inglorious.

Being without children doesn't mean that one has left no footprint, or that no change has been made by one's passing. Actions, words, creations of one's hands...for better or worse we all leave a legacy.

And having children is no guarantee of remembrance, after a couple/few generations, parents' graves are just as neglected as everyone else's.

A blog may be as good a testimony as any.

A very moving stream of thought that speaks to anyone who is aware they are leaving a piece of themselves for the world to see any time they blog... especially blogging from the heart and soul.
